Meanwhile, the state of Missouri, with all of its (and other states)supposed fiscal problems has received a AAA bond rating from Fitch, Moody's and Standard & Poor. Wouldn't everyone like to have those fiscal problems? New Jersey and Tennessee (cited by Krugman) don't do that well.
