UPDATE: Oh. Good. Lord. Reading that AP release more closely, it says toward the end that Stewart's criminal indictment does not include insider trading. Yes, you read that right - it's too hard for the DOJ to prove that Martha Stewart had any material knowledge about Erbitux getting flushed by the FDA, so that'll be part of a civil action. In other words, the Ashcroft Department is charging Martha Stewart with a crime for declaring her innocence with respect to her ImClone trade, while she isn't being charged with a crime for the actual ImClone trade.
Yeah. I don't quite get the logic either.
